Sure, most of the players aren't putting there all into the matches and criticism is deserved, but it doesn't help to shout abuse at your own team whilst they are trying to get back into the game. Last nights game was shameful on the pitch but it was equally shameful on the stands. Shouts of 'Johnson for Taylor' will do nothing for his confidence. How is he supposed to lead the troops if fans are calling for him to be taken off. There was and clearly is no leadership at Forest and its not hard to understand why. Taylor didn't have a good game but can anyone name someone who didn't shine out there. Before you name Spencer Weir-Daley i seem to remember marlon king having a good debut, attacking defenders and look at his performances for Forest. Also that one trick shimmy will only fool defenders a few times. As for Johnson, i can't remember him having a good game for a long time. He still lacks pace but fans still seem to think of him as a messiah. Its time to realise that the old 20 goal a season striker isn't the same player he was. Thats down to poor fortune and poor discipline. This doesn't mean i think he can't do a job because he can. He just has to put in more effort on the training pitch as do all the players.
Leave performances for the manager who is also being harshly criticised and all we can do is back Nottingham Forest. After all we are the 'Support'ers.
